Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting and cost accounting in manufacturing.
• 3+ years with ERP accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE).
• 2+ years Excel with formulas (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• 2+ years preparing journal entries and month-end close.
• 2+ years GAAP and SOX compliance with internal controls and external auditors exposure.

Responsibilities

• Assist Controller with deliverables and deadlines.
• Perform monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal postings.
• Support SOX compliance and internal controls; assist audits.
• Review plant variances to determine causes.
• Assist with excess and obsolete inventory review.
• Support standard cost process and ad-hoc requests.
• Establish costing for new parts; review cost updates on existing parts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive results.
• Assist with accounts payable invoice approval/processing.
