Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Junction City, Oregon seeks a Plant Controller to lead site financials, partner with plant leadership, and drive cost efficiency, working closely with production teams to tie daily decisions to outcomes.

You will oversee monthly close, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory valuation while building a small site-based team and developing talent for a scalable manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, controllership, or cost-accounting.
• 3+ years experience with Excel using complex formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, reconciliations, and financial modeling.
• 2+ years demonstrated ability analyzing financial performance, identifying root causes, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• 2+ years experience with ERP systems such as Epicor or something similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close and reporting with insights on trends, risks, opportunities, and working capital.
• Maintain SOX controls and ensure compliance with auditors and internal policies.
• Improve ERP configurations and automate processes (Epicor).
• Lead forecasting and budgeting, assess P&L and balance sheet risks and opportunities.
• Partner with plant and cross-functional leaders to support the annual operating plan targets.
