Job summary

DwyerOmega is seeking a Plant Controller to lead the financial integrity of the manufacturing facility. You will oversee cost accounting, forecasting, and reporting, partnering with operations and corporate finance to drive disciplined cost management and informed decision-making.

You will manage a team of accounting professionals, ensure accurate monthly closes, support budgeting, and coordinate internal and external audits, delivering timely financial insights for site leadership.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; MBA/CPA preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience with hands-on cost accounting is required.
• Public accounting experience a plus.
• Proven experience leading and developing a finance/accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing accounting/finance team.
• Act as plant's finance and accounting leader.
• Manage timely monthly close process.
• Analyze performance versus budgets for leadership.
• Improve cash flow in accounts payable.
• Lead cost accounting and standard cost improvements.
• Ensure internal controls, GAAP, and corporate policies.
• Oversee reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate audits and remediation of findings.
• Support annual budgeting and standard cost-setting.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and plant management.
