McCain Foods USA, Inc. seeks an Operations Finance Analyst to be the key finance representative at the plant, partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and Finance to improve financial and operational performance.

The role focuses on day-to-day financial activities, forecasting, budgeting, standard costing, inventory controls, and variance reporting within a manufacturing environment. Strong collaboration and data-driven insights are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• MBA or CMA/CPA is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, plant accounting, or operational finance.
• Strong costing, variance analysis, manufacturing accounting, and inventory management knowledge.
• Experience building and managing financial reporting and variance analyses in manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary finance contact for plant operations, providing analysis and guidance.
• Analyze labor, material, energy, yield, downtime, and variances and report findings to leadership.
• Lead monthly variance reporting and forecasting processes with explanations and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and KPIs for plant performance and cost control.
• Support month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger accuracy.
• Assist in developing the plant's annual operating budget and ongoing forecasts.
• Perform inventory audits and manage controls for raw materials, ingredients, and spare parts.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and assist in corrective action plans across teams.
• Support SAP implementation activities at the plant and ensure data integrity.
