Qualifications

• 3+ years cost accounting experience in field, grower accounting, or agricultural operations.
• 3+ years financial data analysis and reporting experience.
• Advanced MS Excel and experience with BI platforms (Cognos or similar). ExtendAg familiarity a plus.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
• Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with field, operations and accounting teams to analyze financial performance and drive improvement.
• Monitor key operational metrics related to planting, growing, and harvesting onion.
• Prepare and present performance indicators and spending summaries to leadership.
• Participate in budget development, forecasting, data collection and regular financial reporting.
• Support capital project reviews by coordinating requests and analysis with corporate teams.
• Assist with general accounting tasks, including journal entries and raw material cost reviews.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and ad-hoc projects.
