Job summary

Milliken & Company in Simpsonville, SC, is seeking a Finance Administrative Associate to provide administrative support for costing, payroll, purchasing, accounting, inventory control, and financial analysis. The position reports to the Plant Finance Leader and operates on-site at the Hillcrest Plant.

The successful candidate will be proficient in Excel, Outlook, and SAP with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of handling high‑volume data, budgets, and vendor correspondence

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and SAP (emphasis on Finance).

Responsibilities

• Code, input, audit, and track payroll time and attendance
• Prepare weekly cost analysis and ad hoc reports
• Reconcile inventory cycle counts and perform variance analysis
• Budget changes (annual) BOM’s, Routes
• Conduct analysis of expenses
• Research supply availability, pricing, and lead times
• Prepare requisitions and place orders with vendors
• Research and reconcile purchase order receipts with vendor invoices
• Support the controller with managing ledger accounts and expense coding
• Track material usage and waste
• Communicate with corporate accounting utilizing workflow system
• Prepare freight invoices and administrative pay requests
• Identify ways to improve relevant financial processes
• Support administrative needs in the office
• Completes weekly Purchase orders and Consumption of Indirect Materials (Tubes, Plastic, Latex)
• Assists Plant Finance Leader in preparing PowerPoint presentations
