Job summary

MPW Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment in a fast-paced plant environment.

This hands-on role supports field repairs as needed to keep equipment safe and reliable. The successful candidate will perform scheduled, preventive, and emergency maintenance, diagnose and repair pumps and electrical systems, and collaborate with plant management to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training preferred.
• Three to five years of maintenance experience; industrial or mechanical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled, preventive, and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace pumps and related mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and complete major component repairs.
• Work with chemical dosing systems, including analytics, pumps, and valves.
• Set repair priorities with plant management based on downtime and operating needs.
• Adjust work schedules to address equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Provide clear shift handoffs to supervisors, plant managers, drivers, dispatchers, and mechanics.
• Learn MPW equipment, systems, and repair procedures.
• Travel to field locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment.
• Keep the maintenance area clean, safe, and organized.
• Complete preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Perform other maintenance and facility duties as assigned.
