Job summary

MPW Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support safe, efficient operations across PPS production facilities in Huntsville, AL.

You will develop maintenance schedules, perform repairs, and assist with inspections to keep plant systems running reliably. The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work 8–12 hour shifts on site, with occasional travel between PPS facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical HVAC/industrial maintenance training preferred.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and equipment issues with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with MS Office and maintenance documentation systems.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working 8–12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for plant equipment and systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial equipment.
• Inspect equipment like pumps, heaters, forklifts, and compressors regularly.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and support vendors during servicing or repairs.
• Monitor maintenance spending and support cost-effective repair decisions.
• Keep maintenance records and parts inventories organized.
• Assist with electrical panel assessments and PLC-related troubleshooting.
• Support maintenance across multiple PPS facilities as needed.
• Follow safety policies, PPE requirements, and procedures.
