Job summary

MPW Industrial Service Group is seeking an Equipment Readiness Technician to maintain and repair industrial equipment, ensuring systems are safe, operational, and ready for deployment. You’ll troubleshoot pumps, electrical issues, and related components, coordinating with plant leadership to minimize downtime across shifts.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, PLC familiarity, and the ability to lift heavy loads while working in dynamic field environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or industrial training preferred.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in industrial or mechanical environments.
• Knowledge of pump systems, industrial equipment repair, and rebuilding processes.
• Familiarity with PLC systems and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally; capable of 8–12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment to ensure readiness and reliability.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on pumps and related equipment.
• Complete major electrical repairs and troubleshoot systems and components.
• Coordinate repair priorities with plant management to align with operational demands.
• Travel to field locations as needed to repair and maintain equipment on-site.
