Job summary

BWH Plant Co. in Orlando, FL is hiring a Guest Experience Associate for The Jungle Room. You will welcome customers, share plant care knowledge, assist with purchases, and help create a warm, educational shopping experience that invites repeat visits.

You will support events and community activities, maintain plants, and help keep the store organized and visually appealing. This role requires reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a retail, hospitality, or customer service setting.
• Strong knowledge of plants and plant care.
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and multitask effectively.
• Reliability and flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Proactively interact with customers, provide plant care advice, and create a welcoming shopping experience.
• Sales & Checkout: Process point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently, assist customers with purchases, and drive sales through product recommendations.
• Plant Maintenance: Maintain a visually appealing and organized store, including watering, potting, trimming, and general plant care.
• Events & Community: Assist with in-store events, workshops, and community initiatives to foster engagement and brand loyalty.
• Store Operations: Support daily retail operations to ensure smooth store functioning and premium service.
