Plant Engineering Manager
Responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, and/or repair of plant equipment and machinery. Establishes standards and policies for operating procedures and inspection of maintenance equipment.
Essential Functions
- Perform routine facility maintenance duties including plant electrical infrastructure, chilled water systems, HVAC and air exchange systems, facility structural maintenance, compressed air systems, and water farm systems.
- Develop monitoring systems to evaluate the health of facility maintenance.
- Coordinate all preventative maintenance systems through in-plant labor and outside services.
- Manage technicians as assigned to accomplish engineering department tasks.
- Perform technician tasks as needed to ensure ongoing positive operation of the facility, including maintaining product water and mineral injection systems, filtration, CIP tasks, ozone, filler sanitation, batching support, etc.
- Handle plant project work, including assisting with corporate project implementation, data collection initiatives, and executing plant task assignments.
- Drive cost-savings projects and other initiatives to achieve company strategies.
- Contribute to overall plant safety, actively advocating for team member safety and safety culture improvement.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in a related manufacturing environment.
- 6+ years of experience in a similar position.
- 6+ years managing people/projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a related manufacturing environment.
- 10+ years in a similar position.
- 10+ years managing people/projects.
