Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 5 years progressive engineering experience.
• Must be able to work and interact with all levels of the organization.
• Must have strong oral, written, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to implement WCT principles.
• Ability to lead effectively in a bargaining unit environment.
• Strong knowledge in the implementation of Safety, PM, and Launch Domain.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methods and tools.
• Strong skills in resolving complex issues affecting overall operations.
• Knowledge of cost studies and strategic planning a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Manufacturing Engineering for Engine programs and guide the Engineering team to develop and launch processes that meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies.
• Develop and improve process and equipment standards.
• Lead the deployment of World Class Technology (WCT) tools and methodologies.
• Support the Engine Manufacturing Plant in Kokomo, IN while coordinating with Engine ME counterparts in Saltillo, MX and Global COC initiatives.
