Job summary

Clorox's Hidden Valley Ranch plant in Wheeling, IL seeks a Plant Engineering Manager to lead engineering activities for safe, reliable, and efficient operations. You will manage technical resources, capital investments and budgets, and provide engineering leadership across facility infrastructure, equipment, maintenance, and site projects.

This onsite role partners with Operations and other functions to drive performance, develop technical capabilities, and plan for long-term plant needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in plant-based engineering roles.
• 2+ years of experience leading Engineering teams in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience with engineering capital projects management and safety/regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and facility leadership to prioritize productivity, cost reduction, safety and compliance.
• Lead capital projects management, budgeting, procurement, and scheduling at the site.
• Mentor and coach plant Engineering personnel and support career development.
• Own and maintain the plant Master Site Plan and technical documentation updates.
