BD is seeking a Plant Engineering Leader to guide a team of engineers and drive CAPEX projects across the Sandy, UT facility. You will establish project management practices, mentor professionals, and align efforts with plant goals to deliver quality improvements.

You will partner with plant leadership to boost OEE, reliability, and process optimization while upholding safety and regulatory standards. A minimum of four in-office days per week is required.

Qualificações

• BS degree in engineering, manufacturing or related field.
• 5+ years project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing CAPEX budgets and large-scale engineering projects.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams.
• Strong project and program management skills with tools and methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in manufacturing.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of project engineers and professionals.
• Own and manage the department's CAPEX portfolio, including budget forecasting, business case development, approvals, and execution.
• Standardize and drive project management tools, processes, and metrics for consistent delivery.
• Direct cross-functional teams in planning and executing engineering projects and continuous improvement.
• Improve OEE, equipment reliability, and manufacturing process optimization.
• Support talent development through succession planning, performance management, coaching, and career growth.
• Partner with plant leadership to align engineering priorities with strategic objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and EH&S standards.
• Champion operational excellence and data-driven execution.
