Job summary

You will own the CAPEX portfolio, standardize project management tools, and work with cross-functional teams to boost OEE, reliability, and process performance while developing talent and aligning initiatives with BD's strategic goals.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing CAPEX budgets and large-scale engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of project engineers and technical professionals.
• Own and manage the department’s CAPEX portfolio including budgeting, business case development, approvals and execution.
• Establish and drive the use of project management tools, processes, and performance metrics.
• Direct cross-functional teams in planning and execution of engineering projects and continuous improvement.
• Drive OEE, equipment reliability, and manufacturing process optimization.
• Support talent development through succession planning, performance management, coaching, and career growth.
• Partner with plant leadership to align engineering priorities with strategic business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements and EHS standards.
• Champion a culture of operational excellence and results-driven execution.
