Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a Plant Engineer for the Penbryn, NJ plant to lead maintenance, capital projects, and reliability initiatives. You will supervise staff, manage safety programs, and coordinate with contractors to ensure on-time project delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 5 years of maintenance/plant/project experience and strong leadership. SAP PM experience is preferred. On-site work in South Jersey with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ maintenance/plant/project engineering experience.
• ERP systems knowledge including SAP Plant Maintenance and SAP Project Systems.
• Thorough knowledge of environmental and safety rules/regulations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience supervising salary and hourly staff; ability to hire, coach and terminate.

Responsibilities

• Complete safety requirements as assigned.
• Hold direct reports accountable for completing assignments.
• Manage the Asset Care & Reliability (AC&R) program for continual maintenance improvements.
• Manage plant-driven capital projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate, review, and ensure safety compliance of suppliers and contractors.
• Oversee purchasing of MRO materials and manage plant maintenance budget.
• Provide IT liaison with corporate IT on related activities.
• Develop and manage long-term Capex programs.
