Job summary

BD is seeking a Global Facilities Excellence & Utilities Engineer to lead the deployment of BD Excellence across global facilities. You will collaborate with site teams and engineering groups to improve asset reliability, reduce energy consumption, and drive cost savings.

The role involves developing SOPs and procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen and CI events. Strong PM and automation knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and energy efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, building automation, and central plant utilities.
• Experience with PLCs and automation controls is preferred.
• PM practices certification (PMP or similar) is a plus.
• Six Sigma/Kaizen experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of BD Excellence across Global Facilities Operations.
• Collaborate with site teams and stakeholders to improve asset reliability and energy efficiency.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, TGDs, and WPs for Facility Management networks.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, EPA, OSHA and related regulations; manage changes and risk.
