Job Summary

The Plant Engineer & Reliability Manager oversees maintenance and engineering at the brewery, providing technical leadership for equipment, reliability, capital projects, and continuous improvement. This role is key to the plant leadership team, balancing short-term operations with long-term organizational goals, and collaborating across departments to meet internal and external customer needs efficiently and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities

1. Coach, develop, and mentor plant leadership and technical staff.
2. Optimize asset utilization and oversee preventative maintenance programs.
3. Develop and execute strategic plans for engineering and maintenance.
4. Provide technical solutions for operational problems, system optimization, and troubleshooting.
5. Ensure compliance with EPA and OSHA standards.
6. Drive results through innovation and a sense of urgency.
7. Manage site capital plans, budgets, and project execution.
8. Lead root cause analysis and equipment reliability efforts.
9. Develop utility improvements and efficiencies.
10. Maintain high-quality relationships with contractors and suppliers.
11. Ensure a safe, neat, and organized work environment.
12. Lead and motivate teams, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
13. Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to prioritize maintenance activities.
14. Manage engineering and reliability budgets, controlling costs.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Four-year engineering degree.
2. At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, including management roles.
3. Strong leadership and project management skills.
4. Preferred experience in the beverage or food industry.
5. Proficiency with analytical tools and predictive/preventative maintenance techniques.
