Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, seeks a Plant Engineer for New Carlisle, IN to support zone operations and drive efficiency through project execution and reliable maintenance. You will help manage documentation, participate in safety and quality processes, and assist plant managers with technical issues.

The role emphasizes collaboration with operations, design, and corporate teams, ensuring projects meet scope, cost, and schedule goals while upholding Airgas safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of operational or engineering experience.
• Experience with process safety and operational improvements preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to Zone operations and Plant Managers.
• Assist in resolving technical and operational issues and in incident investigations.
• Participate in creation, updates and reviews of PHAs, P&IDs, MOCs and SOPs.
• Create, review and approve job plans in Maximo to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Develop designs, cost estimates, and economic justifications for plant projects.
