Evonik Corporation in the United States seeks a Plant Engineer to provide day-to-day technical support to plant operations, troubleshoot equipment and processes, and support safety, reliability and efficiency of production. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering to execute improvements and capital projects.

The role requires planning and coordinating with site engineering, external contractors, and maintenance to ensure technical availability and compliance with safety,

Competenze

• BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• SAP, Emerson Delta-V, Aspen, PIMs experience is a plus.
• Ability to maintain good communication and manage priorities.

Mansioni

• Provide plant support related to process troubleshooting, new product introductions, process safety management systems, CAPEX, and OEE.
• Act as project manager or project lead for plant-related projects up to $500,000.
• Ensure technical availability of production plants per requirements, balancing economics, safety and environment.
• Coordinate with site engineering, external contractors, and maintenance to plan resources for trials and projects.
• Apply engineering judgement to initiate studies and develop long-term technical solutions.
• Provide plant-specific technical expertise in process engineering and state-of-the-art techniques.
