Job summary

Verto People Ltd in Rochester, MA seeks a Plant Engineer for a full-time, on-site role at a complex Industrial power generation facility. You will monitor plant performance and lead improvement projects, with exposure to boilers, combustion systems and process controls.

Requirements include 3–5+ years in power generation or similar industries, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, hands-on problem solving, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years in power generation, utility operations or related industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience with boilers, combustion systems and process controls.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily plant performance and identify deviations from operating parameters.
• Prepare performance reports and support production meetings focused on improvement.
• Optimize combustion processes and control systems for efficiency and compliance.
• Investigate issues related to combustion, process efficiency and reliability.
• Oversee engineering projects from concept to handover and coordinate resources.
