Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Plant Engineer to support power generation operations, process engineering, and continuous improvement at a modern waste-to-energy facility. You will monitor performance, support combustion and control systems, and lead engineering projects to ensure reliable operation.

The role collaborates with Operations, Maintenance, Regional Engineering, and Corporate Process Engineering teams to drive capital projects, emissions performance, and long-term improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in power plant operations and maintenance; internship considered.
• Hands-on experience in process engineering and problem-solving.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp and/or SolidWorks preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit and monitor daily plant performance metrics and deviations.
• Lead performance reports and weekly production improvement meetings.
• Manage Production Action Items and coordinate with regional teams.
• Optimize combustion processes and control systems for efficiency and compliance.
• Oversee engineering modifications and full lifecycle of projects.
