Job summary

MedSpace Services is seeking a healthcare facilities engineer to maintain and repair a wide range of hospital equipment and building systems in a fast-paced setting. You will ensure logs are accurate, safety standards are upheld, and operate various plant systems.

The role requires troubleshooting skills, knowledge of schematics/blueprints, and a valid driver’s license, with licensure in healthcare engineering preferred. Competitive benefits and full-time hours are offered.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade related to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Sunday 3:00 pm -11:00 pm

Monday 3:00 pm -11:00 pm

Tuesday 11:00 pm -7:00 am

Wednesday 11:00 pm – 7:00 am

Thursday 3:00 pm -11:00 pm

Responsibilities

Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in hospital and provides for a safe working environment. Maintains and repairs equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Maintains the building and its related systems. Certified and/or licensed in a specific trade that is directly related to healthcare engineering.

• Five (5) years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred
• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade that is relative to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc)
