Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is seeking a Plant Engineer III on a per diem basis to maintain and repair hospital facilities and systems, including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and medical gas networks. The role requires safety-conscious, hands-on maintenance and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include keeping accurate logs, ensuring safe operation, and supporting building infrastructure across the Denville area.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred
• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade that is relative to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Pay Transparency

Saint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $32.00/Hr. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
