Job summary

Warren Paving, part of Granite Construction, is seeking a Plant Oversight professional to manage cost and engineering activities that drive efficient plant operations and regulatory compliance. You will oversee budgets, capital improvements, and daily production metrics across multiple facilities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and at least 5 years of construction materials experience, with a strong grasp of regulatory standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mining, civil or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction materials field experience.
• Knowledge of materials business and regulatory requirements (MSHA/OSHA).
• Strong communication and public speaking with management.

Responsibilities

• Support quarry manager with annual operating budgets.
• Analyze and design capital improvement projects to add value.
• Develop and analyze efficiency reports to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Mine planning.
• Deliver tailgate safety meetings.
• Evaluate rolling stock utilization and operations.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Monitor daily production and loadout test results to meet product specs.
