Job Title: Division Director
This position is with Partners Personnel, connecting top-tier manufacturing and engineering talent with leading employers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Production and Quality departments to review equipment and processes, and design modifications to enhance production capabilities and ensure quality.
- Conduct work following standard engineering principles and practices.
- Design, fabricate, install, construct, commission, and start-up new or modified plant equipment or facilities.
- Identify opportunities to improve plant safety and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Manage project-related expenditures and estimate costs for proposed projects.
- Analyze and improve plant yield, process cycle times, and operating costs.
- Develop improvements to electrical and control systems to increase plant reliability and operability.
- Manage the Maintenance Department, with the Maintenance Supervisor reporting directly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred, with 2+ years of engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing process equipment.
- Field-oriented, hardworking engineer.
- Project-minded with excellent leadership abilities.
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills, with potential for supervisory or leadership roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.
- Knowledge of process control systems and statistical analysis.
- Experience in writing capital project requests, creating project scopes, and obtaining vendor quotes.
- Ability to manage projects within budget and timeline, coordinating with contractors and onsite staff.
- Experience testing and training employees on new equipment.
- Provide mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation support as needed, including 24/7 technical support for the Maintenance department.
