Responsibilities:

1. Lead, support, and direct maintenance activities in the Greeley Value Added Facility, supporting plant operations and utilities, including ammonia refrigeration and maintenance training programs.
2. Oversee the success of the Preventative Maintenance program through guidance and follow-up.
3. Manage and develop 4 Maintenance Supervisors and a Maintenance Training Supervisor.
4. Develop the department through recruitment and team member development based on engineering principles, utilizing the maintenance training program.
5. Coordinate with Corporate Engineering to ensure standardization and sharing of best practices.
6. Partner with departments such as Operations, Procurement, QA, and Shipping to meet departmental KPIs.
7. Lead root cause analysis, focused improvement, and FMEA activities with technical leadership.
8. Develop startup plans, including labor needs, scrap reduction, and efficiency improvements.
9. Support new project development with technical documentation, training, and spare parts planning.
10. Collaborate with EHS on safety and ergonomic requirements for equipment and layouts.
11. Communicate effectively within JBS and with vendors.
12. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 5 years in food processing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, air compressors, motor controls, and sanitary maintenance.
• PSM experience preferred.
• Effective people skills.
• Basic computer skills (Word and Excel).
• Supervisory experience managing maintenance teams and projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (5+ years).

The work environment may include cold/hot temperatures, chemicals, machinery, slippery floors, and loud noises.

The position offers the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, Dental after 60 days.
