Insight Global is seeking a Design OSP to support a telecommunications client. This is a remote position within the US. As a Design Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop solutions addressing real-world broadband challenges.

Qualifications:

• Experience in OSP and/or Design Engineering
• Certified in Aramis Software
• Familiar with the Waldo platform
• Knowledge of FTTH
• Understanding of utility design requirements, materials, and plan production
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS utility plans

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and draft fiber optic cable layouts (experience with Aramis required)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and utility maps
• Analyze utility data and measurements from field technicians
• Update utility records and GIS data
• Prepare permit submittals and coordinate utility activities
• Create as-built drawings and update GIS

Compensation:

$30/hr to $45/hr. Compensation varies based on skills, experience, and education.

Employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one, including medical, dental, and vision insurance options. Eligibility for the 401(k) plan begins after 90 days. Paid sick leave and other benefits are provided as per legal requirements.
