Job summary

Hudson Bread Company in North Bergen, NJ is seeking a mid-level Plant Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to keep bakery equipment running safely and efficiently. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support production teams to minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on experience with motors, conveyors, relays, sensors, control panels, VFDs, and PLC troubleshooting (Siemens preferred).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance or mechanical experience.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance across bakery and production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems (motors, relays, sensors, control panels).
• Assist in diagnosing PLC-related problems (preferred, not required).
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per OSHA guidelines.
• Partner with production teams to minimize downtime and prioritize repairs.
• Help manage parts inventory and maintenance records.

Our production thrives on dependable equipment and a maintenance team that keeps everything running safely and efficiently.We’re seeking a mid-level Plant Electromechanical Maintenance Technician with strong electrical diagnostics and solid mechanical know-how.
