This role requires a mechanically inclined professional with preferred electrical troubleshooting skills who can maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime. You will work as part of a larger maintenance team and be responsible for both preventative and corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.**Schedule:** PM shift (Weekends, Holidays, OT may be required)---**Key Responsibilities****Mechanical Duties include, but are not limited to:*** Ensure operation of machinery and equipment by completing preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns, focusing on both mechanical and electrical components.* Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including motors, control panels, wiring, sensors, switches, and production line power supplies.* Use appropriate test equipment such as multimeters, clamp meters, and megohmmeters to diagnose and isolate electrical faults.* Interpret and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.* Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical equipment including panels, lighting, and production machinery.* Maintain, adjust, and repair mechanical systems such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, gearboxes, pumps, and motors.* Follow safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and adhere to electrical codes and OSHA standards.* Document maintenance actions, irregularities, and maintain logs to ensure continuity across shifts.* Maintain parts inventory, anticipate equipment and supply needs, and expedite orders as needed.* Contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient working environment by complying with internal procedures and regulatory standards.## Qualifications**Required Education and Experience:*** High School diploma or GED equivalent.* Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Technician.* Minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience in a bakery or industrial setting.* Valid driver’s license.**Preferred Knowledge & Skills:*** Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.* Working knowledge of electrical safety standards and basic NEC codes.* Familiarity with PLC systems is a plus.* Basic understanding of boiler systems.* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.* Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.* Ability to work in confined spaces and on ladders or elevated platforms.
