Job summary

Vylor in Worthington, Indiana is seeking a Plant Electrician to ensure safe and reliable operation of electrical systems. You will maintain electrical, controls, instrumentation, HMIs, and HVAC, support capital projects, and manage maintenance plans while minimizing downtime.

The role requires hands-on electrical work, documentation, and collaboration across shifts and departments. On-site position with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience/education in Industrial Electrician or Maintenance preferred.
• Journeyman electrical license may be required in some states.
• Experience reading electrical diagrams and understanding NEC is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe practices and drive risk reduction to meet Vylor safety standards.
• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Create, modify, and close work orders in CMMS with accurate labor and parts records.
• Support capital projects and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Maintain plant shop, equipment records, and site/system prints.
