Job summary

Vylor is seeking a Plant Electrician in Worthington, Indiana, to ensure safe and reliable operation of electrical systems, perform repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance, and support capital projects.

You will maintain electrical, controls, instrumentation, HMI, and HVAC systems, manage work orders in CMMS, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to minimize downtime while sustaining production.

Qualifications

• Industrial Electrician/Maintenance background expected.
• Journeyman license may be required in some states.
• Familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Understanding of PLC automation servers, processors and control systems.
• Experience with HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance in line with safety standards.
• Provide maintenance across electrical, controls, instrumentation, HMI, and HVAC systems.
• Create and close CMMS work orders with accurate labor and parts data.
• Support capital projects and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Maintain equipment records, site prints, and preventive maintenance plans.
• Assist in estimating labor and equipment costs for projects.
• Ensure operation of plant equipment and safe electrical programs.
