Job summary

Vylor Inc. seeks a Plant Electrician for our York, NE site to ensure safe, reliable electrical systems and maintenance across HVAC, controls, instrumentation, and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities include repairs, inspections, PM planning, and capital project support, with a focus on safe practices and accurate documentation. You’ll work 100% on-site, collaborating with vendors and internal teams, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience and/or education in Industrial Electrician/Maintenance
• Valid US driver's license required
• Willing to work on elevated surfaces using fall protection equipment
• Willingness to work extended hours including weekends/holidays
• Basic understanding of process controls
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to learn and apply concepts
• Ability to schedule work and complete tasks
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
• Experience in maintaining/hydraulic/pneumatic/HVAC/electrical systems, welding and fabrication

Responsibilities

• Lead safe practices and incident investigations to meet company safety standards
• Support plant operations with corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance
• Create/modify/close work orders in CMMS and document labor/parts
• Provide maintenance support for capital projects with vendors/contractors
• Maintain plant shop and maintenance tools
• Use predictive maintenance tools to identify issues and train others
• Maintain equipment records and site/system prints
• Lead projects with Operations to minimize production disruption
• Maintain Enterprise Asset Management system and PM plans
• Troubleshoot and maintain HMI systems using Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE/ME
• Assist in labor/equipment cost estimation and repair of electrical/mechanical equipment
• Ensure operation of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC
• Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections
• Recommend safety improvements through electrical programs or changes
• Other duties as assigned
