Job summary

Vylor, Inc. in Tipton, IN, seeks a Production Electrician to ensure safe, reliable operation of plant electrical systems. You will perform repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on electrical, control, instrumentation, and HVAC systems, supporting capital projects and maintenance planning.

This is a 100% on-site role located in Tipton, IN. The ideal candidate has a two-year background in industrial electrical maintenance, holds a Journeyman license, and can interpret the National

Qualifications

• Two years of experience and/or education in Industrial Electrician/Maintenance
• Journeyman electrical license
• Ability to interpret the National Electric Code
• Willingness to work extended overtime, including weekends/holidays

Responsibilities

• Lead safe practices to meet company safety standards
• Perform corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance
• Create, modify, and close work orders in CMMS with labor/parts tracking
• Support capital projects with vendors and internal teams
• Maintain plant shop and maintenance tools
• Develop and update preventive maintenance plans and training
• Maintain equipment records and site/system prints
• Plan and lead maintenance projects with Operations
• Maintain Enterprise Asset Management system and provide user training
• Troubleshoot and maintain HMI systems using Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE/ME
• Estimate labor and equipment costs for repairs and upgrades
• Ensure operation of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and HVAC systems
• Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections following guidelines
• Recommend safety improvements and new devices/hardware
• Perform other duties as assigned
