Job summary

Vylor is hiring a Plant Electrician for our York, NE location to ensure safe and reliable operation of electrical systems and controls. You will perform repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, and HVAC systems, and support capital projects with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes managing CMMS work orders, documentation, and adherence to safety standards, with a 100% on-site work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience and/or education in Industrial Electrician/Maintenance.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Willing to work on elevated surfaces with fall protection equipment.
• Willingness to work extended/overtime including weekends/holidays.
• Basic process controls understanding and NEC familiarity.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe practices and drive risk reduction per company standards.
• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Create, modify, and close work orders in CMMS with accurate labor/parts data.
• Support capital projects with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Maintain plant shop, tools, and equipment records.
• Troubleshoot and maintain HMI systems using Rockwell FactoryTalk.
• Estimate labor/equipment costs and support new or upgraded equipment.
• Ensure operation of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and HVAC systems.
