Job summary

Vylor seeks a Plant Electrician for our Algona, IA site to maintain electrical systems, controls, and HVAC equipment. You will manage CMMS work orders, support capital projects, and ensure safe, compliant operation with fall protection and safety practices.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, electrician apprenticeship or post-secondary program, and Journeyman license or progress toward it. On-site role with a strong safety culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience or education in an Industrial Electrician/Maintenance field.
• Journeyman electrical license preferred or to be obtained within three years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety standards are met and lead risk-reduction efforts.
• Maintain plant electrical systems, controls, instrumentation, and HVAC.
• Create, modify, and close CMMS work orders with labor and parts data.
• Support capital projects and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• TROUBLESHOOT and maintain HMI systems using Rockwell software.
• Maintain equipment records and North American electrical codes.
