Job summary

Red River Brick is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant-wide electrical systems. You will update electrical prints, secure PLC program copies, and manage parts inventory to support efficient operations.

The role requires high school or GED, plus technical training; five years of electrical maintenance experience and PLC knowledge are preferred. Strong teamwork, reliability, and a safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary technical training preferred.
• Electrical and PLC training preferred.
• Five years of electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of PLCs strongly desired.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC-controlled, and automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems plant-wide.
• Maintain and update electrical prints and ensure secure copies of PLC programs.
• Manage inventory and maintain adequate supply of electrical parts.
• Perform mechanical repairs and fabrication as needed.
• Design and create electrical control systems when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times.
• Take on additional assignments as needed to support plant operations.
