Job summary

Red River Brick is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant-wide electrical systems. You will update electrical prints, secure PLC program copies, and manage parts inventory to support efficient operations.

The role requires high school or GED, plus technical training; five years of electrical maintenance experience and PLC knowledge are preferred. Strong teamwork, reliability, and a safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical and PLC training preferred.
• Five years of electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of PLCs strongly desired.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC-controlled, and automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems plant-wide.

Job description

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems plant-wide

Maintain and update electrical prints and ensure secure copies of all PLC programs are stored in both the electrical shop and main office

Manage inventory and maintain adequate supply of electrical parts

Perform mechanical repairs and fabrication as needed

Design and create electrical control systems when required

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times

Take on additional assignments as needed to support plant operations

Education

High school diploma or GED required

Post-secondary technical training or equivalent preferred

Electrical and PLC training preferred

Experience

Five (5) years of electrical maintenance experience preferred

Working knowledge of PLCs strongly desired

Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC-controlled, and automated manufacturing equipment

Skills

Ability to learn full plant operations in a reasonable timeframe and follow detailed instructions

Work Schedule

Compensation

Pay range: $27.00–$33.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
