Job summary

American Chrome and Chemicals (AC&C) seeks an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the electrical, instrumentation, and control function at its Castle Hayne, NC plant. You will drive reliability, safety, and continuous improvement of electrical systems and automation across the site.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and a track record in manufacturing environments, with responsibility for capital projects, safety programs, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, distribution, and control systems (PLC/DCS)
• Experience with NEC, NFPA, OSHA codes and standards

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of electrical engineers, E&I technicians, and contractors
• Oversee the design, maintenance, and reliability of electrical distribution systems, motor controls, and instrumentation
• Provide technical oversight for DCS, PLC, and control systems; optimize strategies and efficiency
• Lead electrical scope for capital projects from concept through commissioning
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, including PSM and safety programs
• Drive reliability improvements using KPIs and data-driven cost optimization
