Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, maintain, and improve plant electrical systems and components. The role focuses on ensuring safety compliance and reliable power distribution in a heavy manufacturing environment.

You will partner with operations, maintenance, and contractors to support safe, efficient plant performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime while providing technical training to staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, power distribution, instrumentation, switchgear, and PLCs.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is preferred.
• Ability to analyze technical issues, set priorities, and deliver solutions in an industrial setting.
• Strong PM, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve plant electrical systems and components.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
