Colgate-Palmolive Company seeks an experienced EHS Manager for its Tonganoxie, KS plant. You will lead environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and a culture of safety excellence.

The role centers on protecting workers, supporting sustainability goals, and driving continuous improvement across operations. You will report to the Director of Manufacturing and oversee local EHS staff, coordinating with plant leadership to execute the EHS Management Plan and KPI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related technical field.
• 7+ years of functional EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of direct supervisory experience managing EHS teams or functions.
• Demonstrated expertise in OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulatory compliance management (air, water, waste, stormwater).

Responsabilités

• Direct local EHS team members and partner with plant leadership to establish, execute, and monitor the facility's EHS Management Plan and KPIs.
• Oversee full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT) and internal global standards, liaising for inspections and audits.
• Lead sitewide safety engagement initiatives, incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and emergency preparedness programs.
• Manage site waste streams, permitting, and industrial hygiene programs while driving energy, water, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Oversee high-hazard risk controls and ensure annual compliance training programs are executed.
