Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of safety and/or environmental regulatory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and engineering skills for evaluating hazards and processes.
• Experience interpreting regulatory requirements and developing practical paths to compliance.
• Ability to analyze technical data and develop corrective actions.
• Strong communication with manufacturing teams, leadership, contractors, and regulators.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, lookup formulas, and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with manufacturing and product teams to evaluate safety and environmental impacts of new and changing processes, equipment, and materials.
• Lead and sustain safety and environmental programs at assigned manufacturing operation.
• Maintain site permits and program compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct hazard assessments and identify practical solutions to improve processes and compliance.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for safety, environmental, and sustainability improvements.
• Perform emissions calculations and support environmental permits and reporting.
• Conduct site, contractor, and supplier safety and environmental audits.
• Provide EHS training to manufacturing teams and promote a behavior-based safety culture.
