Job summary

Vorteq Coil Finishers is seeking a Plant Data & Shipping Coordinator to support daily plant operations through accurate data entry, shipment coordination, inventory assistance, and administrative tasks. The role operates on a steady afternoon shift (2:00PM–10:00PM) in a dusty plant environment, with physical requirements including walking and ladder use.

The ideal candidate has high school diploma or equivalent and experience in data entry or clerical work, preferably in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in data entry or clerical work, preferably in a plant/manufacturing setting.
• Comfortable in a dusty, industrial plant environment.
• Ability to walk long distances and use a ladder safely.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with data systems a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Data retrieval, reporting, verification and validation with high accuracy.
• Adherence to data entry standards and procedures.
• Provide customer service support and assist with logistical coordination.
• Scan, file, and route paperwork to correct departments.
• Enter loads into data management systems accurately and promptly.
• Match pulled tags to packers for accurate shipments and inventory control.
• Assist Shipping/Receiving Manager and Inventory Analyst with data tasks.
• Support inventory accuracy by verifying items and tracking stock levels.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Occasionally walk long distances and use ladders safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards in the plant environment.
