Job summary

Vorteq Coil Finishers is hiring a Plant Data & Shipping Coordinator to support daily plant operations with accurate data entry, shipment coordination, inventory assistance, and administrative support. This role works a steady afternoon shift (2:00PM-10:00PM) in a dusty plant environment with climbing ladders where required and cross-team collaboration is essential.

The ideal candidate has data entry experience, strong attention to detail, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior data entry or clerical experience, preferably in a plant/manufacturing setting.
• Comfortable in a dusty, industrial plant environment.
• Ability to walk long periods and use a ladder safely.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with data systems a plus.
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work independently and with the team, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Data retrieval, reporting, verification and validation with high accuracy.
• Adhere to data entry standards and procedures.
• Provide customer service support by handling inquiries and coordinating logistics.
• Scan, file, and maintain paperwork; route to correct departments.
• Enter loads into data management systems promptly and accurately.
• Match pulled tags to packers to ensure correct shipments and inventory control.
• Assist Shipping/Receiving Manager and Inventory Analyst with data tasks.
• Support inventory accuracy by verifying items and tracking stock levels.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Occasionally walk long distances and use a ladder safely; follow safety standards.
