Vorteq Coil Finishers, LLC is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Material Handler to efficiently transport raw materials, drums, cores, cartons and finished products while minimizing damage. Daily duties include stocking, data entry, and coordinating with multiple departments.

The role emphasizes safety, timely material movement, and accurate inventory handling in a fast-paced environment requiring teamwork and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of functioning in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in data entry and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Move materials to and from storage across departments with minimal damage.
• Verify inventory tags, labels and item numbers accurately.
• Record data entry and paperwork for inbound/outbound materials.
• Stock and transport materials to proper storage areas as needed.
• Conduct routine pre-shift maintenance checks on equipment.
• Support safety standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
