Job summary

General Motors (GM) is seeking a Manufacturing Cybersecurity Engineer to serve as the plant's primary cybersecurity execution partner. You will implement and sustain the Manufacturing Cybersecurity Program, coordinate remediation activities, support incident response and disaster recovery, and collaborate with plant operations, IT, and global teams to minimize risk while maintaining production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience in cybersecurity for automotive or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of endpoint security, vulnerability management, incident response, and recovery.
• Experience patching production-critical equipment and updating OT firmware.

Responsibilities

• Implement and sustain the Manufacturing Cybersecurity Program at the assigned GM plant.
• Identify, prioritize, and remediate endpoint security issues and vulnerabilities.
• Support cybersecurity incident response, investigations, recovery, and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate site-readiness activities, resources, schedules, and dependencies for projects.
