Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in the United States is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager for the Electrical Products division. The role oversees all aspects of cost accounting, standard costs, month-end close, variance analysis, and the annual cost roll, partnering with operations, engineering, and corporate finance to drive financial transparency and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, CPA or CMA is a strong plus, 5+ years of manufacturing cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA/CMA a strong plus.
• 5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience; multi-product line a plus.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and cost accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure accuracy of standard costs across BOMs, routings, labor, and overhead.
• Lead annual standard cost roll in SAP with alignment to operational changes.
• Manage month-end close, inventory valuation, variances, and reconciliations.
• Partner with operations to analyze production costs and cost drivers.
• Address root causes of process or control failures with corrective actions.
• Support capital projects tracking, reporting, and post-investment reviews.
• Assist with annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and pro forma reporting.
