Job summary

Cutting Dynamics, LLC in Avon, Ohio, part of Re:Build Manufacturing, seeks a cost accounting professional to own standard costs, analyze cost drivers, and support pricing decisions. You will partner with manufacturing, engineering, and sales to improve margins and ensure accurate inventory valuation.

Role requires 3+ years in manufacturing cost accounting, advanced Excel, and ERP proficiency; Syteline experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing cost accounting; contract manufacturing experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency; Syteline experience is a plus.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and the ability to present actionable insights.
• Expertise in standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain standard costs for products (materials, labor, overhead) and align with on-floor processes.
• Partner with manufacturing to dissect processes, identify true cost drivers, and recommend efficiency gains.
• Translate cost data into pricing insights to strengthen margins.
• Support the Quoting team with cost models for major quotes and LTAs.
• Track and explain job cost variances and conduct close for inventory and cost accounting.
• Contribute to budgets/forecasts for COGS and manufacturing expenses.
• Assist in implementing Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) and move from Standard Cost to Actual Cost.
