The Cost Accountant will partner with cross-functional teams, manage standard costing, and help transition cost environments using Infor Cloud Suite Industrial (Syteline).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in contract manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel; Syteline experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments and present financial insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain standard costs for products, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to review production processes, identify cost drivers, and recommend efficiencies.
• Evaluate current cost structures and sales data to support pricing strategies and profitability analysis.
• Support Quoting team to develop detailed cost estimates and pricing models for major customer quote packages and LTAs.
• Monitor and report on job cost variances, including material usage, labor efficiency, and overhead absorption.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales teams to align cost assumptions and business strategies.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities related to cost of goods sold and manufacturing expenses.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory valuation and compliance with accounting standards.
