Job summary

Cutting Dynamics, LLC in Avon, Ohio, part of Re:Build Manufacturing, seeks a cost accounting professional to own standard costs, analyze cost drivers, and support pricing decisions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing cost accounting; contract manufacturing experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency; Syteline experience is a plus.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and the ability to present actionable insights.
• Expertise in standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain standard costs for products (materials, labor, overhead) and align with on-floor processes.
• Partner with manufacturing to dissect processes, identify true cost drivers, and recommend efficiency gains.
• Translate cost data into pricing insights to strengthen margins.
• Support the Quoting team with cost models for major quotes and LTAs.
• Track and explain job cost variances and conduct close for inventory and cost accounting.
• Contribute to budgets/forecasts for COGS and manufacturing expenses.
• Assist in implementing Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) and move from Standard Cost to Actual Cost.
